The Town of Palm Beach is seeking applicants to fill three (3) regular member positions on the Shore Protection Board.

There are two (2) current regular members whose first terms will expire on December 1, 2018 and are eligible to re-apply. There is one (1) current regular member position whose final term will expire on December 1, 2018. Alternate members are eligible to apply for promotion to regular member status.

All citizens interested in pursuing appointment to the Shore Protection Board must complete the appropriate application for service and submit the same to the Town Clerk by 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2018. The appointments to the Shore Protection Board will be scheduled on the agenda for consideration and potential action at the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.

The Shore Protection Board acts in an advisory capacity to the Town Council and makes recommendations to the Town Council on all matters relating to shore protection in the Town of Palm Beach. The Shore Protection Board is composed of seven (7) members appointed by the Town Council. Members of the Board will serve a (3) three year term and must be residents of the Town.
